Thought I'd kick off a gardening thread seeing as this time of year always feels like the moment of truth — stuff that's been sitting in packets since January, promises you made to yourself about raised beds and proper crop rotation.
Anyone else out there with an allotment or even just a decent patch? What's going in this month, and what embarrassingly failed last year? (Mine was parsnips, every single time, and I'm choosing not to talk about it further.)
Genuinely curious whether other people find the plot or the garden does something that's hard to explain — that kind of head-clearing thing. Or is that just me romanticising standing in the mud.
