Been thinking about this a lot lately — when city life gets a bit much, where do Midlands folk actually go?
I know the Lickey Hills get mentioned, and I've seen Clent Hills come up in passing, but I suspect there's a whole map of quieter spots that only locals know about. Canal towpaths, a particular bench, some tucked-away café where the tea is strong and nobody rushes you.
So go on — where's your green escape? And where do you stop for a brew afterwards? Outsiders absolutely welcome to read along and feel envious.
