Some arrivals are not luck — they're delivery. Who turned up in your life at the precise moment, and left you more yourself than they found you?
Phil's framing — "delivery" rather than luck — is the one that interests me most. Because luck implies the universe was indifferent and you happened to catch a good bounce. Delivery implies something was in motion toward you.
I'm not asking anyone to decide which is true. But here's a small practice that might be worth trying: think of one person who arrived at exactly the right moment, and ask yourself not why they came, but what you were ready for when they did.
Sometimes the question shifts from "how did they find me" to "how had I made space to receive them."
What changed in you after they arrived — not what they did, but who you became? That seems to me the part worth sitting with.
