Did you read the book or listen to it — and does it hit differently out loud?

Read mine — actual paper copy, dog-eared in a few places. But I keep wondering whether the audiobook is a different experience entirely, given how much of the book is Philip's inner voice trying to talk himself out of things.

Curious whether the narration makes those moments feel more like sitting with someone, or whether it loses the sense of him writing it down and working it through on the page.

Which format did you go for? And were there any chapters you found yourself going back over — either because something landed hard or because you wanted to pick it apart a bit more carefully?
