Curious whether anyone has actually taken this one to a book club — proper mixed crowd, I mean, not just people who already think the same way.
I'd imagine Philip's chapter on cold reading is where things kick off, but I could be wrong. Maybe it's something quieter that catches people off guard. And I wonder whether the sceptics in the room feel like the book's on their side, or whether it's more complicated than that once you're actually talking it through with someone who believes.
Which bit caused the most grief? And did anyone come out the other end thinking differently, or did everyone just dig in harder?
