Been wondering whether anyone has actually taken this one to a proper book club — the kind with a mix of people, not just the already-converted.
I'd imagine chapter six is where the room splits. The sceptics start picking at method, the believers stop wanting to finish their biscuits, and someone ends up feeling personally attacked before pudding. But I could be wrong about which chapter does it.
Did the sceptics in your group come away any softer? Did anyone who went in a believer find themselves wobbling? And honestly — was there a moment where the arguing stopped and everyone just went quiet?
