Ten minutes of quiet sounds completely doable until you factor in actual life. I suspect a fair few people here are doing the Ten Minutes at half six before anyone else surfaces, or sitting in a parked car pretending to look for something in the glove box.
Philip makes it sound almost simple in the book — just ten minutes, just stillness — and I don't doubt it works. But I'm curious how people with kids, or a noisy household, or unpredictable shifts, have actually made it stick. Or haven't. Honest failures just as welcome as the workarounds. What have you tried?
