There's a thing that happens sometimes — you meet someone, barely ten minutes in, and something just settles. Not excitement exactly. More like recognition. Like a frequency you didn't know you were broadcasting suddenly getting a response.
What I'm curious about is how you know. Not in your head, with reasons — but in your body. A loosening somewhere? A particular quality of quiet? Something that makes you lean forward rather than back?
And the harder question: have you ever been wrong in both directions? Certain about someone who turned out to be nothing like you thought — and completely missed someone who was right there all along?
I'm also wondering whether it works the same way online as it does in person, or whether something different is going on when all you have is words on a screen and a username.
No agenda here, just genuinely want to know how this lands for other people.
