The Ten Minutes in the book never promised an empty mind — it just asked you to sit. Which sounds simple until you try it and your brain starts composing shopping lists and replaying conversations from 2009.
So I'm curious what actually works for people whose heads won't go quiet. Because "clear your thoughts" is advice that mostly makes the thoughts louder. Some people find walking does something that sitting can't. Others find washing up, or counting the breath, or just watching what comes up without fighting it.
There are no wrong answers here, and no gold stars for sitting cross-legged in silence if that's not your thing.
If something has genuinely shifted for you — even slightly — I'd like to hear what the practice actually looked like. Not the theory of it. What did you do, and what, if anything, changed afterwards? Even small and hard-to-name counts.
