Been thinking about this lately — there's something lovely about the idea of just pulling up somewhere quiet and switching off for a night. Canal-side especially appeals to me, for obvious reasons, though I gather the reality can involve more dog walkers at six in the morning than you'd hope.
Do any of you have a region you keep going back to? Hills, coast, somewhere utterly unremarkable that just works? No need to give away exact spots if you'd rather keep them to yourself — general area is plenty. And what makes a spot a keeper for you — the view, the quiet, the mobile signal being nonexistent?
