Been noticing a few of you mention overnighting in vans and motorhomes in passing, so thought it worth its own thread.
What makes a spot a keeper for you — coast, hills, canal side, somewhere else entirely? Regions are fine if you'd rather not give away your secrets, which is fair enough.
I'm curious what the deciding factors are, too. Is it the view, the quiet, the sense of being left alone? Or is it more practical — level ground, no early-morning dog walkers hammering on the window?
