What is a win you have had where nobody lost?

Most wins have a shape that requires someone else to lose. A promotion, a sale, a bet settled in your favour — the good news and the bad news land in different inboxes on the same day.

But some wins aren't like that. The allotment that finally produced something edible. The sentence that came out right after a dozen attempts. The conversation where two people understood each other, perhaps for the first time in years. Nobody's share gets smaller when those things happen.

I'm curious whether those wins feel different to you — in the body, in the aftertaste. And I wonder why we don't make more of them. We have trophies and league tables and bonus structures, but almost nothing that marks the other kind.

So: what's a win you've had where nobody lost? It can be tiny. It probably should be.
