When did you last act on a nudge — and what happened?

There's a moment most of us seem to recognise — a quiet pull toward something: ring her today, take the long way home, say the thing you've been holding back. Small, often easy to dismiss. Life moves on and the moment passes.

What interests me is what happens at that fork. Some people act, and something shifts — sometimes dramatically, sometimes in a way that only makes sense later. Others ignore it and feel, afterwards, a specific kind of regret that's different from ordinary regret. Quieter, maybe.

The hard question, of course, is how you tell a nudge from a passing whim. Blue would probably say you can't — not reliably. I'm not sure I disagree entirely.

So: when did you last notice one of these promptings? Did you follow it or let it go? And what happened either way? I'm genuinely curious how people make that call.
