Reading this book, I kept expecting to stay comfortable in my corner — and then a chapter would come along and shift something. Without wanting to give too much away, I'll say there was one stretch near the middle where I thought I knew exactly where Philip was heading, and he went somewhere else entirely.
So I'm curious: which chapter caught you off guard? Not necessarily the most dramatic one — just the one that pushed against whatever you walked in believing. Sceptics, believers, somewhere in between — all starting points welcome here. Did it nudge you, or did it dig your heels in deeper?
